5 Bucks Lucky Traffic School

Located at 5BucksLucky.com, the online traffic school dubbed 5 Bucks Lucky is not one of our favorites in California. We’ll come right out with it: almost every aspect of the business comes across as scammy. We’re not saying that’s the case, however. Just that their website does little to inspire much trust in the customer. Yet we tested it out for this review anyway. And while it got the job done, we were a little apprehensive throughout the entire process. Basically, what we’re trying to say is that 5 Bucks Lucky is a reliable online traffic school but it’s not one that we’d recommend outright. Continue on below to read our review of this online traffic school and see exactly what it is that we didn’t (and did) like about the service.

Top-Rated Online Traffic Schools

Is 5BucksLucky.com A Legit Online Traffic School?

The end answer is, yes, 5 Bucks Lucky is a legit online traffic school. At the same time, however, the company does little to help establish this. As we mentioned above, their website is quite scammy in nature. Much of the written content is duplicated from other sites. And the overall web design does nothing to inspire confidence. Some might consider the school’s name scammy in itself. We mean, it’s awesome that the service only costs $5, but is there a reason it only costs $5? With the majority of other online traffic schools in the $15 to $30 range, you have to wonder why this one is so cheap. But, hold up, we said above that 5 Bucks Lucky is indeed a legit online traffic school. That’s because the service is bonded and registered with the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles. Their DMV license number is E0725. Beyond this certification, there is little about 5 Bucks Lucky that comes across as reputable.

5BucksLucky.com Customer Support Overview

5 Bucks Lucky provides average customer support. Their live phone support hours are from 8am to 5pm PST Monday to Friday. This is fairly normal within the online traffic school industry. On top of this, 5 Bucks Lucky claims to offer extended support hours in the form of 24/7 technical support. From what we can see, this just isn’t the case. Though you can call the phone line at any hour of the day, we have yet to connect with a live representative. We’re curious as to whether this was a one-time thing or if the 24/7 telephone support is an exaggerated or outdated claim.

How 5BucksLucky.com Works

5 Bucks Lucky brings with it many of the same benefits as other online traffic schools. Chief among these is the fact that you can use the service entirely from the comfort of your own home. There is no need to attend a class in a classroom. Along these same lines, the 5 Bucks Lucky online traffic course doesn’t need to be completed in a single sitting. Unlike a traditional classroom course, you can break up your studying into several chunks. You can even break it up over the course of several days. As for the course material itself, it’s pretty standard as far as online traffic schools go. 5 Bucks Lucky doesn’t really offer much in the way of exciting content. Sure, the inclusion of photos and videos is nice, but they don’t really bring much to the table. Upon completing the course material, you’ll receive immediate access to the final exam. It is made up of 25 multiple-choice questions that relate to the material you just reviewed. Answer at least 70 percent of these correctly to pass the exam and finish the course.

How Long Does the 5BucksLucky.com Course Take?

The course provided by 5 Bucks Lucky takes around 8 hours to complete. However, some people may finish it in as little as 1 or 2 hours while others will take 10 or more.

What We Like About 5BucksLucky.com

As you might be able to tell, we don’t have a very high opinion of 5 Bucks Lucky. Perhaps the only things we really like are its incredible low cost and ease of use. The school is easy to use and provides good results – at least from what we know. There is not much positive to say about the service beyond that.

What We Don’t Like About 5BucksLucky.com

The list of things we don’t like about 5 Bucks Lucky is longer than the list of things we do like. To top it off is the website’s scammy feel. It just doesn’t feel like a website you can trust. And while looks aren’t everything, it’s generally a good idea to trust your gut – especially when there are so many better options out there.

In Summary

So do we recommend 5 Bucks Lucky? In all honesty, no, we do not. While the service does get the job done, there are so many online traffic schools out there that are more trustworthy and reliable – even if they cost slightly more.
