Online Traffic Schools in Georgia (Top 5)

We have good news and bad news…

The bad news is that Georgia does NOT authorize online traffic schools. Meaning, if you want to remove a traffic violation, you’ll most likely have to take the course in a classroom setting.

The good news is that you can ask permission from your court handler if they will approve an online traffic school.

However, when asking permission, it’s important to pick a reliable and well-known online traffic school. This way, maybe your court handler will be more confident about it.

It’s definitely worth a try!

And if you’re given the green light, then AWESOME!

But what online traffic school should you go to?

This is where we come in.

We’re going to review the 5 best online traffic schools in Georgia for you. All these schools are 100% online, have a reputable name, and might get you that court approval.

Plus, we’ll include an FAQ section to hopefully answer your burning questions.

So buckle up and let’s go!

What are the Best Online Traffic Schools in Georgia?

Here is a list of the 5 best online traffic schools in Georgia:

Let’s take a close look at these schools.

1. MyImprov

Online Traffic Schools in Georgia MyImprov
What We Like:What We Don’t Like:
Its edutainment teaching styleThe teaching style is not for everyone
Includes fun games and quizzesHas a course timer
Has great user experience
Comes with a money-back guarantee

Who even likes attending traffic school?

Not us. And certainly not you.

But if you must, why not enjoy while studying!

MyImprov stands out with its “edutainment” approach to studying.

They include lots of jokes, skits, and funny videos to the course. With this, you’ll have a good chuckle and won’t get bored easily.

Even better, you can take part in defensive driving games and quizzes.

What’s more, the bite-sized lessons, cute graphics, and many white spaces all add to a great user experience.

Not satisfied?

As long as you don’t yet take the course final exam, you can get a full refund. That’s a deal that’s hard to beat!

Okay, we’ll admit, though, that this course isn’t for everyone. Since humor is subjective, you might find the jokes and skits too cheesy or corny or even cringe.

And also, there is a 6-hour course timer that you’ll have to complete. So if you’re planning on zooming past the course, MyImprov might not be your best choice.

Still, it’s a fun course. That alone can make the time go by quickly.

2. iDriveSafely

iDriveSafely
What We Like:What We Don’t Like:
Has excellent user experienceHas a few grammar/punctuation errors
No course timers
Has great customer support

Whether you want to zoom past the course or study it properly, iDriveSafely is a great choice.

If all you want is to get it over with, then you’ll be happy to know that there are no course timers.

Yes, you can skip through the lessons as fast as you can. Just make sure to give it a quick scan so you can answer the quizzes and final exam.

As for those who want to study it, you’ll experience an excellent user experience.

With its 8 single-subject units, short paragraphs, many white spaces, pictures, and videos, it’ll be very easy to read through and understand.

On top of that, you get great customer support.

We know how frustrating it is to wait hours before you can reach support for, say, a technical issue or a question about the course.

Well, iDriveSafely makes sure to get to you straight away. Even making their support available 7 days a week.

Great customer support is a BIG PLUS in our eyes.

As for the downsides, you may have to face some grammar and punctuation errors.

Of course, this might not be an issue for some. But it might be VERY annoying and unsettling for others.

3. GoToTrafficSchool

GoToTrafficSchool
What We Like:What We Don’t Like:
Offers a free trialNot the cheapest
Option to choose a learning styleNot the best user experience
Most available in the US

How would you like to take a FREE course?

With GoToTrafficSchool, that’s exactly what you get.

With their free trial feature, you can start studying without paying a single penny. Of course, if you want to take the final course exam to get your certificate of completion, that’s when you have to pay.

Another great feature is the many learning style options.

You can go for the normal text-based course for $48. Here, you can avail of an audio read-along. This allows you to listen in when you’re, say, commuting.

If you’re more of a visual learner, then you can get their video-based course, which is slightly more expensive.

Note: you can select your course format when signing up.

But probably the best thing about GoToTrafficSchool is their availability.

As we mentioned earlier, online traffic schools are not approved in the state. So you’ll have to ask permission from your court handler, which is a 50/50 chance they will accept.

If you tell them you’re going to attend an online school that is approved in almost all the states, has great reputation, and is well known around the country, then there’s a bigger chance they will accept.

So, yes, GoToTrafficSchool might be your best bet.

However, that comes with some downsides.

We were rather disappointed to find that they are actually the most expensive compared to the other schools on our list. We were disappointed because GoToTrafficSchool boasts to be the “cheapest online traffic school”.

On top of that, it doesn’t have the best user experience.

The lessons are a bit text-heavy, plus there are very few pictures and videos. Of course, this shouldn’t be a problem if you’re using the video course, audio-read along, or are just planning on zooming past it.

We made a course walkthrough for GoToTrafficSchool, too. Check it out below:

4. TrafficSchool

Online Traffic Schools in Georgia TrafficSchool
What We Like:What We Don’t Like:
Has a straightforward courseNot the cheapest
Content is up to date

Who needs all those fancy traffic school bells and whistles?

If that’s not for you, you’ll be more drawn to TrafficSchool’s straightforward course.

Yes, it gets the job done without adding anything less or anything more.

Plus, the course content is all up to date, teaching you the latest Georgia laws and defensive driving techniques.

It comes with all the benefits of an online traffic school – you get to study it at your own pace from the comfort of your home.

What more are you looking for?

On the flip side, it is a more expensive online school when compared to some of the other schools we mentioned here. But for its simplicity, some people are willing to pay for that.

To keep in line with TrafficSchool’s straightforwardness, we won’t dilly-dally anymore.

5. DriveSafeToday

Online Traffic Schools in Georgia DriveSafeToday
What We Like:What We Don’t Like:
It’s super cheapNot the most well-known
No course timer
Unlimited exam retakes
Comes with learning style options

Last but not least, DriveSafeToday.

What’s the standout of this online traffic school?

It’s SUPER cheap!

For just $19.95, it’s half the price of any school here.

No one wants to spend on something they don’t want. But since it’s a must, might as well go for the cheapest, right?

And yes, it can dismiss a violation (if accepted by your court handler, of course).

What’s more, there are no course timers. You can fly past the lessons if you just want to get it over with.

As for the final course exam, you can retake it as much as you need to. 70% of that retakes are given for FREE.

So there are no worries there.

Wait. There’s more.

Just like GoToTrafficSchool, they give you the option to choose your learning style, whether that be text-based, audio narration, or video streaming.

It’s the perfect school if all you want is to finish it as fast and cheaply as possible.

Unfortunately, however, DriveSafeToday is not that well-known. Your court handler might not trust it as much as the other online traffic schools.

Still, there’s no point not trying.
