Course Availability
Both DriverEdToGo and MyImprov online driver’s ed are state-approved in a few states in the US (check our comparison chart for the list).
Most states require a state-approved driver’s ed to be able to apply for a learner’s permit or a driver’s license, so make sure to take note of that when choosing an online driver’s ed course.
One more thing. DriverEdToGo’s driver’s ed course is available nationwide, except in DC.
This means that if you happen to reside outside the six states where their course is approved, you can still take driver’s ed from DriverEdToGo for educational purposes, to prepare for your knowledge test or written exam, even if it won’t be accepted by your state’s DMV.

Overall, DriverEdToGo’s costs $44 on average. If we only look at the states where their courses are approved, the average price increases to $50. State prices range from almost $29 to around $75.

Judging from current reviews, it shows most users prefer to use this channel. With over a thousand reviews, DriverEdToGo earned a 4.7 rating from AppGroves.
