Aceable Online Traffic School Review

Aceable is one of the newer online traffic schools, but it has quickly become one of the highest-rated traffic schools. Now that Aceable is a certified online traffic school in several states (including Texas, California and Indiana), we thought it was time to get a review of Aceable on the site. What We Like About Aceable

For years now, we’ve been saying that you should stick with online traffic schools that have been around for a while. This advice has worked well over the years because “fly-by-night” online traffic schools would pop up all the time, leading to literally HUNDREDS of very low-quality online traffic schools in California, mostly run by single individuals. So, in order to avoid signing up for one of those low-quality online traffic schools, we always recommended sticking with the big players who have been around for decades. And then Aceable came along and made all of that advice useless.

The thing is, Aceable hasn’t been around for 10 years and they aren’t well recognized in many places yet, however, Aceable is without a doubt the single best online traffic school you can sign up for. But what makes Aceable different from all the other new online traffic schools that pop up all the time? The individuals, and the money, behind it. Let me explain…

Aceable is operated by a startup company that has already received millions in venture capital. They realized that online traffic school and driver education programs were becoming horribly outdated, so they created their own brand new courses from scratch, and they built a special version for any device you might want to use.

With fun mini-games, driving simulations, and funny meme humor, Aceable really brings the course to life with its modern take on online traffic school that makes learning much more engaging. You won’t find yourself dozing off to this course anytime soon.

This also makes the course much easier to take, even for tech newbies. Aceable comes with its own robot mascot called Ace, who guides you through the course content to ensure you stay on track.

An added plus is Aceable’s mobile applications that are some of the best in the industry, well optimized to provide you an easy on-the-go experience. And no, this isn’t just some rehash of the desktop version. With Aceable, you’ll get a full exclusive mobile experience that makes taking the course a breeze.

And if you’re still on the fence, they’ve got a 4.7-star rating on Android and a 4.9-star rating on IOS based on over 40,000 reviews! So you don’t need to worry about glitchy apps here.

So no matter what busy schedule you may have, Aceable makes learning quick and easy to get you done with the course ASAP.

What really matters though is that Aceable is guaranteed to dismiss your ticket while offering the best platform/technology, and the best customer service. I mean, you can talk to their customer service on Instagram/Facebook, making it super convenient to get in touch if you wanted to (don’t worry, they have email and phone and all sorts of other ways to contact them, too).

Plus their Youtube page comes with a whole host of informational videos and course content. You’ll be able to get a look at the course and your state’s requirements before you sign up.

So, I guess we’re being a bit biased here and our opinion is readily showing through, but we don’t see much of a reason to NOT sign up for Aceable.

What We Don’t Like About Aceable

As stated above, we really think Aceable is the absolute best online traffic school you can sign up for right now. Our only real complaint is that they aren’t certified in more states, but as a newer traffic school, they are working on more state approvals. You can see if Aceable is currently certified in your state here.

One thing about Aceable is it’s a bit more expensive than your average online traffic school. But considering the features and how easy the course is to complete, I’d say it’s well worth it in the end.

Other than that, most of our complaints about Aceable have to do with the mundane task of completing traffic school, not so much the provider in this case. The course is the fastest legally allowed course for every state they are approved in and they help you to get it done fast. There just isn’t much we don’t like about Aceable.

How Aceable Works

While things are slightly different depending on the state you’re taking traffic school in, Aceable’s online traffic school is set up in the same basic way. Every online traffic school course with Aceable is broken up into several sections, usually 6. After each section is a super easy quiz that you’ll need to pass before you can move on to the next section. You can retake the quizzes as many times as you need to, but they are only a few questions and you should be able to get them right even without viewing the material. If you don’t get them right, quite frankly you need to review the material a bit anyway!

At the end of all sections, you’ll need to take a “final exam” in some, but not all states. Usually, you’ll only have 2 chances to pass the final exam, but Aceable has a greater than 99% pass rate, so it isn’t a huge concern.

How Long Does The Aceable Online Traffic School Course Take To Finish?

You can go through Aceable at your own pace. If you really want to take your time going through it, you can essentially take as long as you want. But what you probably really want to know is, how quickly can I get it done? I’ll assume that’s what you want to know…

In some states, such as California, there is no course timer required. This basically means you can complete the course as quickly as you can hit the “next” button and pass some simple quizzes. It isn’t out of the question for you to get it done within 1 or 2 hours. Of course, you SHOULD take your time and go through it slowly, but as long as you pass the quizzes, nobody is going to hassle you for getting it done fast.

Unfortunately, in other states such as Texas, a “course timer” is required by law so your 6-hour course will unfortunately still take 6 hours long. This is accomplished by placing page timers on each page and you are unable to progress until the timer reaches zero. If this sounds super annoying, you’re right, it is. However, this is not something Aceable has in their course to just be difficult. All defensive driving courses in Texas will require a course timer. The good news is, Aceable is the fastest online defensive driving course allowed in Texas and they also offer video-based versions if you’d rather spend your time watching videos instead of reading.

So, the short answer is it depends on your state, but plan on anywhere from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 6.

Final Thoughts About The Aceable Online Traffic School Course

We were obviously a bit biased in this review, but in case you didn’t catch it, this is our favorite online traffic school for every state it is certified in. This course is fast, easy, relatively cheap (when you consider the high cost of paying the ticket, and nobody can touch their customer support should any issues come up. They also have a money-back guarantee, so even if you don’t like them after signing up, you can still get your money back. Aceable easily gets our highest 5 out of 5-star rating.
